On 20th July Skills People Group Accounts Assistant Anne Cooper bravely shaved off her curly locks as part of 'Brave the Shave' in aid of Macmillan.

Anne was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago and considers herself lucky that it was caught early and she is cancer-free.

Anne actually exceeded her fundraising target to raise an impressive £1,150 for the charity. This amount was matched by Skills People Group, resulting in a grand total of £2,300.00 which will be donated to the charity.

Anne commented: "Thank you to all for making this so worthwhile. It has certainly been the ‘Bravest’ thing I have ever done. Not the craziest, or adrenaline rush, of the other feats I have tried, but the scariest."
